The focus of Naturopathic Medicine is to address the underlying root causes of acute and chronic conditions while using minimally invasive therapies. Naturopathic Medicine concentrates on removing obstacles to healing and utilizes treatments that are in tune with the body’s natural healing abilities.

In working with her patients, Dr. Moore may include any of the following treatment guidance: therapeutic nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathic preparations, biotherapeutic drainage, depuration and detoxification, lifestyle counseling, movement and physical medicine.

Dr. Moore is a board-certified licensed Naturopathic Doctor, NCCAOM Diplomate Acupuncturist* and Asian Medicine Practitioner and has been providing natural medicine in the community for over sixteen years. She received her doctoral degree in Naturopathic Medicine and Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Asian Medicine at Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry and is licensed in the states of New Hampshire and California. Additionally, she holds advanced training and certifications in Trauma-informed care, Functional Medicine, Immune Wellness, Oncology Support, Biotherapeutic Drainage, Gerontology & Elder Care, Auricular, Eye, Scalp and Facial Acupuncture. She also holds certifications in advanced energy diagnosis, intuitive healing and sound & vibrational medicine.

Dr. Laura Moore blends the rigors of scientific, evidence-based medicine with intuitive assessment to provide integrative eastern and western natural medical healthcare. Her preventative and holistic approach is ideally suited for individuals and groups who are seeking health and wellness in their daily lives and throughout their lifetime. Insurance Accepted

Dr. Moore is a fee for service practice.  She accepts payments from qualified Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).  Please check with your plans for service coverage.

Dr. Moore provides coded statements/superbills that you may submit to your insurance carrier for potential coverage. Please check with your plan administrator.  Dr. Moore does not process insurance at this time.

What to Expect from the First Appointment

Dr. Moore provides both general and specialty natural medicine for acute and chronic health conditions. Naturopathic appointments are between 30 – 90 minutes. A first visit to establish Naturopathic Medical Care with Dr. Moore includes a comprehensive medical history and intake, specific physical examination as needed, review of current and/or past relevant labs and initial treatment plans. In most cases a return visit is needed to outline a complete treatment approach and plan. Dr. Moore often combines modalities where appropriate.
