Chrissie Karcher-Birt, APRN

Christine Karcher-Birt is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in primary care across the lifespan. She has been practicing as a primary care provider (PCP) since 2013, providing care to patients from birth through over 100 years of age.

Chrissie attended the University of New Hampshire, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy. It was during her occupational therapy training that she developed an interest in nursing and shortly after graduation she enrolled in the Direct Entry Master of Nursing program at UNH. After working for a few years in community mental health, Chrissie found herself back at her alma mater for the Post-Masters Certificate program and obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner certificate.

Chrissie’s special interests include wellness, prevention, nutrition and lifestyle medicine. She is interested in helping patients utilize both conventional and integrative medicine to manage chronic health conditions, improve quality of life, and stay healthy!

In her free time, Chrissie enjoys staying active, spending time outside, reading, and baking.

She lives in the Seacoast of New Hampshire with her husband and three children.
