Join us for an evening of relaxing Peace and Harmony... Holiday Peace of Mind Workshop was created to encourage comfort, relaxation, peace, healing, and positive resilience before, during and after the holidays. Facing the holidays with family, friends, events, and gift purchasing can be daunting. However, this relaxing guided imagery workshop will allow you to feel safe and calm throughout the entire season. While in a challenging situation, you can use peaceful and positive mindfulness and guided imagery to calm your body and help reduce anxiety. Stress is the leading cause of illness. As research has shown, over 90% of doctor’s visits are due to stress. Reducing stress and increasing relaxation can promote health and wellness. Practicing Mindfulness during the Holidays Peace of Mind Guided Imagery allows you to take time for yourself and relax profoundly as Gi guides you to a state of well being.
Ideal for individuals to use in everyday life, community groups and organizations, A Taste of Mindfulness offers an experiential introduction to the core elements of mindfulness meditation practice. No experience necessary.
At work, in leading others, and in community, A Taste of Mindfulness will assist you to:
1. Communicate with empathy and clarity and reduce compassion fatigue
2. Increase peace of mind, compassion, serenity, patience and the ability to ‘let go’
3. Reduce stress, and promote greater balance
4. Increase work performance and satisfaction
5. Improve focus, attention, critical and analytical thinking skills
6. Increase insight, resilience and response-ability
7. Develop emotional intelligence, regulation and empathy
We introduce mindfulness as a natural human capacity, a meditation practice, and a holistic way of being and caring for ourselves and others. Participants will gain skills to utilize mindfulness as a meditation practice, and in daily life.
