Join Gi Indoccio as she teaches you Easy to Use Mindfulness Skills based and adapted from MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction), created by Jon Kabot-Zinn at the Center for Mindfulness at UMass Medical School.
Gi is becoming a certified Teacher of MBSR and part of her training is to share and teach Complimentary Mindfulness Classes for 2, 3, or 6 hours.
You will learn:
- Definition of Mindfulness and What it Means to You!
- Start to learn How to get Unstuck
- Begin to learn How to "Let It Be, in order to Let It Go..."
- Some Simple Mindfulness Practices that you can use Immediately
- Introduction to "Sitting" with Aware Practice Mindfulness in Mini Sessions
- Handouts to take home and use that night
- Learn of Additional Classes and Resources (Gi is developing a FREE 6 hour Mindfulness Class coming late spring/summer)
Please bring a bottle of water and dress in warm layers. If you have a meditation pillow, bring it too. Additionally, please feel free to bring a friend!
