Shana Levander, APRN

Shana Levander is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a diverse background in healthcare.

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of New Hampshire (UNH). Her passion for helping others was ignited during her travels and work experiences, including a year spent in Australia. This led her to complete an accelerated nursing program, earning her master’s in nursing from UNH.

Shana’s professional journey began at Exeter Hospital, where she worked as a Registered Nurse and was actively involved in patient education. Furthering her education, she obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner certification from Saint Joseph’s College, solidifying her expertise in providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages.

Throughout her career, Shana has worked in diverse healthcare settings, each contributing to her extensive experience and shaping her commitment to patient care. She worked in South Carolina at the Celia Saxon Center, providing primary care to an underprivileged population. Shana also gained valuable experience at a Minute Clinic, treating acute illnesses across all age groups. Upon returning to New Hampshire to be closer to family, Shana joined Core Physicians in Exeter, specializing in compassionate care with a focus on geriatric medicine.

After the birth of her second child, Shana transitioned to Convenient MD to spend more time at home with her young children. There, she gained valuable experience in telehealth services, diagnosing and treating acute illnesses for patients of all ages. This role broadened her expertise and allowed her to work closely with children, which she finds immensely rewarding.

Outside of work, Shana treasures spending quality time with her family – her husband and two children – and enjoys exercise, hiking, going to the beach, and vacationing in the White Mountains.
