Patti Pettis is board-certified in Pediatrics.
She earned her BS in nursing at Nazareth College, MI in 1981 and worked in Maternal Child Health in a variety of healthcare settings. She earned her Master of Science in Ambulatory Pediatric Nursing at Boston College, MA in 1990 and attained her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Board Certification in 1991.
CAPT (Retired) Pettis served on active duty in the US Air Force, Air National Guard and US Public Health Service and retired at the rank of Captain (0-6) in July 2021 with nearly 40 years of service. Her nursing career in federal service focused on a variety of nursing leadership, consultative, clinical, and emergency responder assignments, positions, and deployments.
Patti’s areas of special interest are newborn care and support to new parents, school-based health, and all facets of pediatric primary care. She currently serves in a volunteer healthcare provider position on the City of Dover Board of Health.
In her personal time, Patti likes to cook, sew and follow New England sports teams. She enjoys hiking with her husband and two German Shorthaired Pointer dogs, and travel to spend time with her five grown children and their families.
Patti is accepting new patients. She will see newborns to 18 years of age.
