Come learn how to be mindful with Gi -
No Experience Needed!
During this evening, you will have the unique opportunity to go through the “Taste of Mindfulness” course in person and online with Gi.
This is a one-time chance to experience this course for FREE. Debating on whether to attend? Know that, in the future, the fee for this course will be $25.
What does the course entail? Gi will be teaching you Easy to Use Mindfulness Skills based and adapted from MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction), created by Jon Kabot-Zinn at the Center for Mindfulness at UMass Medical School.
You will begin to learn:
- The definition of Mindfulness and What it Means to You!
- How to get Unstuck
- How to "Let It Be, in order to Let It Go..."
- Some Simple Mindfulness Practices that you can use immediately
- An Introduction to "Sitting" with Aware Practice Mindfulness in Mini Sessions
- About additional Classes and Resources.
During this session you will receive handouts to take home and use right away.
Please bring a bottle of water and dress in warm layers. If you have a meditation pillow, bring it too. Additionally, bring a friend and receive a special bonus!
